Alpha Hydroxy Acids God's little gift!

So in an earlier post you have read about my love affair with Alpha Hydroxy Acids AHA's as I will write from here on in! I have don't a lot of research on the internet about these miracle little acids. You can find these acids and many products such as lotions, face washes, and anti-aging products. They include Lactic Acid, Citric Acid, Glycolic Acid, and more. They are usually derived from fruits or other plants and actually even milk. What they do is exfoliate the skin. Now when I first read about them I thought exfoliation is those scrubby things you find in a lot of body washes and face washes. Although it's true you're skin also exfoliates itself naturally. AHA's help the natural exfoliation process of loosening the dead skin cells from your skin and helping to regenerate fresh new skin! Don't be scared of the word acid. They are acids that are found in the food you eat like, sugar, apples and grapes!

Anyway people who have keratosis pilaris or Chicken Skin like myself find them helpful in keeping the clogged Keratin pores in your skin free and clear of buildup. Other people find them helpful in softening the skin and reducing wrinkles. Either way I suggest to everyone to always read the list of ingredients in everything you buy!
